Authentic Music
I’ve made it my creative challenge to make music that no one else could make, and to defend it with a WHY…not with a sound-alike. That’s why I say authentic music.
Music is a weird thing. You can’t touch it as a listener, you can’t see what it really is; so how do we talk about it? I try to make this process interesting by using specific sounds and a design strategy with one rule above all others; make music like you’re a chef cooking with hand-picked ingredients that can only come from one place. I stamp meaning into the music I design and encourage you to write stories, design products, write scripts with sound as a major role…not as an afterthought in post-production.
